Is it OK to Squat on a Twitter?

It is if Twitter is your friend. The old wwwgoogle.com type typo is one of the oldest squats in the book and today techcrunch was proud to announce that wwwtwitter.com redirects back to their site. At first glance it sounds like a bad move for such a popular site but it's pretty funny if you know a little about the two sites' history. Techcrunch is a fanboy of Twitter. There are more twitter stories and updates on techcrunch that twitter itself. Everyone Thinks They Have a Lottery Ticket: I Actually Do

If you read the various domain BB's you get the feeling that a lot of domainers think they have domains that are going to make them rich. Their Lottery Ticket. In reality they most likely have "Daily Game" lottery ticket that at best will pay up to $1000. Ninety nine percent of the domains you come across are as worthless as a losing lottery ticket but the dream of money appearing out of nowhere is too strong a pull and will always keep people buying junk names on the cheap. I Had Time to Blog But Didn’t Want To

I haven't been away, I just didn't feel like talking about domains. I bought, sold, and managed domains every day since I wrote my last post but I didn't feel like writing about it. Every day I hear people telling me they didn't do a certain task or accomplish a goal because "they didn't have time". I've found that 99-100 times that is a bunch of BS. For the things you really want to do, you make time. These same people watch 2 hours of TV a night or goof around the internet and yet can't make the time to do something constructive.
