There are thousands of these types of lists but I will add my own personal thoughts (Imagine that).  I'm not a millionaire domainer but a person that makes an extra $20-$50K each year that allows me have a little extra spending money and more importantly,  build a investment portfolio that possibly could make me a millionaire domainer down the road.  In no particular order here are tips 21-30 21.  Check your spam folder.  Among all the ... Wednesday’s Daily Dropping Domains

By - June 30, 2010 - 2 Comments
There are a couple of great names on Godaddy today.   I've been watching Lunk.com for a week or so and I'll be in for a few more dollars than it is at the time of this writing.  I don't buy and sell 3L dot com but there is a nice one of those today as well. EWC.com Godaddy loves when people forget to renew domains of this caliber.  An easy $10K for them Lunk.com I will be bidding on this one.  A great sounding, easy to say and spell 4L.com FreeTaco.com I can't think of anything in the world better than a free taco ReShouts.com A poor man's version of Retweets Hammerlock.com A 1998 do... I’ll Never Forget My First Week On the Blogging Circuit

By - June 29, 2010 - 7 Comments
Last fall I decided to start blogging about domains. My favorite blog at the time was Reece Berg's LLLL.com and after coming off a recent non compete from an old site I was looking for my next "niche" to write about.  Domaining is something I enjoy doing, was making money at it, and thought the area could use my "style" of writing and thoughts.  So I decided I was going to do it and started looking for a name. I came across the name "Domain Pantry" and registered the dot com.  It was with excitement that I announced to the world on LLLL that I was starting DomainPantry.com.   Within 5 minutes I ... Godaddy Goes Down Taking Sites and Email with Them

By - June 29, 2010 - 20 Comments
Even the big boys have problems some days.  If you're looking for your daily fill of Danica Patrick's semi pretty face then don't go to Godaddy this morning.  They've gone off line.   In addition to the main site, all sites hosted by Godaddy and email associated with their domains are also inaccessible to ATT/SBC internet users. Of course like all good husbands, initially  I blamed my email problems on something my wife did on the computer despite the fact she hadn't been anywhere near it.  I soon realized early this morning that it was on Godaddy's side since the only emails I had problems with w... Tuesday’s Better Than Average Dropping Domains

By - June 29, 2010 - 0 Comments
Made more from one order on one of my websites yesterday than I've made for all of my PPC websites combined all month.  Got an order for 6000 plants at .32 cents a piece and I pay the grower .10 cents.  She processes the order and bills me.   No touches, only had to set up the website.  I'll divulge which one soon but I only set up the site two weeks ago and it's only 5 pages.......a strong 5 pages evidently.   Now onto the names If you don't see any names below that you like use DropDay.com to find better ones DisposableClothing.com Sounds odd doesn't it.  Marathon runners all buy disposa... Monday’s Daily Godaddy and NameJet Available Domains

By - June 28, 2010 - 4 Comments
There has been some value in the "drop" market but Godaddy has been a little dry lately.  I've reversed course for the time being to start updating some of my older sites rather than buying domains that are product related.  This doesn't mean I'm not buying names. I add garden and plant names every day and other names that I view as strong,  but leaving some on the table I would have bough a few weeks ago.  I am going to tweak my existing sites  for the next month or so because I've raised enough cash to hold me off for a few months.  I'm not rich but certainly flush :)  (it would be better if th... Friday’s Daily Dropping Domains

By - June 25, 2010 - 2 Comments
Last night I had a funny thing happen to me.  I'm part of a television show called Illinois Gardener (google it).  It's a live call in show that started as a local show but was picked up all over the midwest.  Every once in a while we tape a show to be shown during times that one of the "talent" can't be there.  Last night we filmed the live show and immediately followed it and taped a show.  In between shows I was feeling a little giddy.  I used a tiny bit of foul language and was being a little off color.  Nothing too bad but perhaps not safe for everyone.  As we took our first caller he said ...
