Google Pays 68% of Adsense Revenue to Publishers: What Percentage Should Parking Companies Take?

By - May 31, 2011 - 13 Comments
On May 24th Google finally revealed what percentage of Adwords revenue they are paying to their Adsense publishers.  According to their Adsense blog AdSense for content publishers, who make up the vast majority of our AdSense publishers, earn a 68% revenue share worldwide. This means we pay 68% of the revenue that we collect from advertisers for AdSense for content ads that appear on your sites. The remaining portion that we keep reflects Google's costs for our continued investment in AdSense — including the development of new technologies, products and features that help maximize the earnings... Tuesday’s Daily Domain Drops and Auction Picks: Mai.com Already at $77,000

By - May 31, 2011 - 7 Comments
I never get a ton of time to do much around the yard.  Owning a nursery gives me access to any plant I want but I never have the time.  What I do is take it in little increments.  Inch by inch, life's a cinch certainly works for gardening.  I plant one or two plants a day.  Takes me 5-10 minutes a day.  After a few years things start coming around.  This is a view of my back yard.  I haven't started planting annuals yet but I am pretty proud how nice it is with just a few minutes a day.  That and owning a nursery. Now let's take a look at today's names Mai.com This one is at $77,000 with 12 ... Read More »

I Don’t Get It? Why Are Large Portfolio Owners Just Now Bitching About Parking Companies Screwing Us?

Buenos Dias my friends.  It's a holiday here in America for many but of course, not me.  I never get a day off.  Don't let anyone fool you.  Owning a business is rewarding but not exactly fun. The buck always stops with you and nobody cares as much as you. Enough bitching, let's get to some names. Here are the Memorial Day finds of the day. Shirt.org Love it.  I have a few shirts myself LegalOpinion.com Written statement by a court, judicial officer, or legal expert as to the legality (or illegality) of an action, condition, or intent.  See how I made that seem all lawyerish LetsGetNaked.... I Bought My First Dot Co This Week

By - May 29, 2011 - 20 Comments
I made the leap this week and bought my first dot co domain.  While I wouldn't say that I have a complete change of heart on the future of dot co, I will say that I do feel that the dot co tld can be branded as well as any tld on the market.  Notice how I said branded.  You can brand anything. What I love about dot co is the acceptance from the business community.  I am seeing both national and here locally, companies confidently using the tld as their domain.  Whether consumers have completely accepted it is another story.  I truly believe it is a name by name basis.  I also think generics do...
