Sedo’s Weekly Sales Hit $1.3 Million. As Scattered a Sales List As There Ever Was

By - July 31, 2012 - 1 Comment
We all take the Sedo sales list and try and figure out trends. What are people buying and how do I add similar names to my portfolio?  Good luck this week.  Many of these names aren't names I would have thought had any chance of reaching these types of numbers.  Kudos to Sedo for providing the platform and the sellers for using it. A summary:  Weekly sales today with 823 transactions for a total of $1.3 million.  Again they had 42% completed with the Buy it Now feature.  Not very many generics in the top 20 this week with brandable and names somebody wanted for some reason leading the pack.  Here... Lovelogo made up this pretty funny info graphic for me to share and the main reason it's funny is because it's so true.  I personally have had negotiations with all 5 of these type of "buyers".  ... Read More »

Tuesday’s Big List of Names at Auction or Dropping Around the Net 7-31-12

" It's not "cool" to not reveal the difference".  No data, logic or stats to back up any real value to differentiating the two. They ... Read More »

This week starts a tough week for me.  Not because of any even going on but because its the week before I go on vacation. You know the week.  The week where you go through the motions.  Trying not to get too excited because it makes the week go too slow yet you count down the days until you can leave.  The weather here has been absolutely awful.  The hottest year ever and I can't wait to get into the nice weather of Laguna Beach.  Bike along the ocean.  Swim along the beach.  And run the tough hill up to the top of the world. Just a few more days.  Here are today's names. PowerStatus.com... Read More »
