The Daily Recap of Shane’s Auction Picks, the 4th and 5th of May 2016

Auction Quick Recap

It’s been raining for several days now, and it looks like it will continue for the next couple days.  Nothing wrong with rainy days, it makes it easier to justify starring at a computer, besides I’ve been at work for the past 38 hours so I don’t mind.

One more Stars Wars pic, just for fun.

Yesterday’s Average 4L Chip Sales as listed on $1,975.85  17 years old.   4K backlinks.    Closed down in 2014

155 USD Buy this and make a drone company   Sounds like a drug that costs too much

130 USD I think it might be a cleaner, or a the drug that only gets you half as high. “Working man’s opiate”:   I think we’re all getting tired of the same old stuff.  I mean I’ve HEARD that people are getting tired of the same old stuff.  No bidders

?  The kind of name I pick up for $20 and sell for a grand all the time. By all the time I mean once or four times a year.   No bidders

? That’s only $36 in renewals.   The kind of names that sells for 5 figures to a company or sits in your portfolio for 5 years

710 USD sounds like a face wash. 5 years at $9 =$45 smallholding cost even if you sell it for $1000  No bidders at $12.  As good of a name as WeatherUnderground

? Or storm chasers    No bidders.   I know its something I try and get out but I just use Aweber

? Or a WP plugin   Bitcoin mining?   No bidders

560 USD  Coal mining is back in maybe. Mining Coal Cracker, the slang term for coal miners in the Central PA.  I figured this one would get some bids.  I honestly thought it would hit $1K but not even close.  Although I guess we have the rest of the day to go

321 USD   Fantasy sports gambling skill picking

?   I figured I would get this for $10.   Doesn’t mean anything but memorable and well memorable.  Has a bidder and now I imagine it will have more

? Weed? Leaf that takes you for a ride “Let us guide your way to business success”

1,480 USD    These CHiPs have settled at $1300 floor.    X is the placeholder here which adds a little value

1,407 USD   Another X name here.  And getting a good price as well

1,325 USD    Everyone wants those 195,000 backlinks

305 USD Sold for the exact same price in the past  Lots of 3s for the money

135 USD  geez, it looked good to me., 303 USD, 192 USD Yikes  205 USD

A few that are at value prices today   Met reserve.   Great letters from start to finish

1355 USD   A little better name than the above.  Going to do very well

1,595 USD A cloud services analytics site  The tastiest name on the board today

?    Too confusing with Car and Driver but maybe that’s why the bidders like it

1,330 USD Cars do drive  I don’t know any but I would probably buy season tickets. But if anything like the topless beaches the players would be the few people you don’t want to see playing sports topless.  Nobody wants to see the “Oranges in Socks” Topless Cricket league

? Interesting, but doesn’t have a lot of “support” and had been sagging in popularity.  Poker names are dead if this thing can’t get a bid at $12

114 USD If you missed this one, is available and it’s one star better.  If yoga can have a whole clothing line then why not Pilates?

?   Crossed the $1K mark.   Worth another 40% more IMO

1,281 USD   Nice marketing name for $12.  No bidders

? Not a bad name.    Nice travel domain.   Sounds so relaxing

358 USD I want to forget about normal life if I’m traveling.   One bidder.    In game money exchanger?

2,938 USD Or an online gaming currency. Like the tickets you get a chucky cheese.   Opening bid is $90 but great email name for that price IMO

?  What I tell my daughter every day.   and make good decisions.  No bidders

260 USD seems like a good safety consultant name. Pretty good money in occupational safety, Insurance and claims are pricey.  $20 makes you an expert

? Makes sense and you know what it is, If I was looking for a dog trainer I would go to the expert.   Drones are getting cheaper and smaller.   Already small enough to put in your pocket

715 USD I’m thinking a tactical or spy device, deploy your pocket drone to scout the area. Small enough to be smuggled anywhere.     Says who owns it and what they are most proud of

? Everything for Mom   Can’t believe this isn’t already being used.   Can get your whole fest done in an evening when you do shorts

445 USD Or a film festival for short people, elves and dwarves.,

400 USD Ho’s Extra Pretty   While daily deal names may not be as valuable as they used to be, people always want deals, regardless of where they get them.

905 USD

FF.TV  Love this one.    LL anything is great but TV is even better  BUTTTTTTT…premium renewal sucks

No Winner  Firefighter TV

DD.TV   Ditto but cheaper

No Winner  Shortened for Daily TV deals
