THE BIG AFTERMARKET LIST: Thursday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on June 12th, 2014

Jun 12 2014

A lot of people in the domain industry think you have to hit a home run on every sale. Buying a name for $69 and then refusing to sell it for less than $1000.  I prefer the profit method.  Make a profit and keep moving. Reminds me of a joke

A young boy enters a barber shop …and the barber whispers to his customer, “This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you.”

The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, “Which do you want, son?” The boy takes the quarters and leaves.

“What did I tell you?” said the barber. “That kid never learns!”

Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store.

“Hey, son! May I ask you a question?

Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?”

The boy licked his cone and replied,

“Because the day I take the dollar, the game is over!”

. Here are today’s names.  Taking A NAME for FRIDAY’S BOOK OF 10.  ONE SPOT LEFT.  Get your name in front of 18,000 plus potential buyers. Or if you say it the “XYZ Way” it’s 4.2 million potential buyers.   Don’t know what it means but it’s 15 years old and fun to say. And did I mention it’s under $25  Nothing easy about taxes.  And that’s what makes this valuable.  15 years old  You can have this for $900 and I don’t think that this is a bad buy.  Certainly worth that.  I can’t tell you how many times we couldn’t figure out what to have for dinner.  Easiest build out ever  Sounds like a site that’s been around for a while.  Its a PR3 with 600 or so backlinks so it may have been   Sounds like a good app name so I’ll take a flier on this one at $12.  Easy to remember  Upgrade domain for a quite a few companies  Good numbers.  Not top 1% but probably top 10%   These keep climbing  Under $150.  Has a little further to run  I don’t believe Godaddy but it’s not a bad name.  52K backlinks and 35K visits per month. Again, due your own due diligence  Under $300 and you’ve done well IMO  Not a bad snow plowing and bid name for the price   Two character dot tvs don’t come up very often   Babies, the girl next door   A good topic that people are truly looking for info

NEW!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. 99 cent New Registration GOFD722A  Sanko Trading is going to pay you millions………..or UDRP you  My favorite type of stock   No bidders.  I like it but evidently nobody else does  People would say these are bad letters but bad is still good in are making a bit of a move here in the last few months  Not my favorite outfit but lots of women wear them   I like dot cc as I’ve said many times.  I will bidding on this one and the following,,   I haven’t even seen Wreck It Ralph and this is what comes to mind

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.
