DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Friday 9/19

Sep 19 2014

It was hard to miss yesterday’s news that Igloo is buying and their assets.  It looks to be a good deal for both sides.  Ammar obviously got enough to approve the sale and Igloo gets the needed platform to sell their assets.  I also know that if Tess Holcolm is involved it will go well.  Congrats to both sides. Here are today’s names. Not a bad  13 years old.  Under $50 is where I would want to be  It’s a botanical name but also the name of an island.  I bid it up to $55.  Yours from here.  I still think its a great brand  Great drone brand.  No bidders  Not all get bids.  This one is doing OK  Nothing supervaluable but no bidders so $12 probably is worth the risk  Great letters.  Under $50

Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day. $10 off PURCHASES OF $50 OR MORE ACOSKS65   Crowd funding, angel funding, VC funding, grant funding, etc. 16 years old, no bidders   I can only imagine what this going to go for .  You should want to own this.  $10K is not out of range    Could have had this for $50 last year.  Now look at it  20 years old.  Solid letters but only 29 bidders  Has twice as many bidders as the above.  Shows you what’s hot right now  Someone will have to explain to me why this one is so high  Two of the most important words in business  I think it is more convincing to use  but this will do  Good brand. Still means throwing up

(ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct
