DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Sunday, August 16th 2015

Aug 16 2015
You know what I love about designers.  All designers.  They all think they are better than everyone else at what they do.  Every single designer I have met thinks they can another person’s work and do a better job.  You could take a layout that won “Best Layout in the History of Earth” by the International Designers Group and they would look at it and point out a couple things that would improve it.  It’s even worse with logo designers.  But it’s what drives them.  Design is a personal thing and most designer are driven by what they feel is best and the client either agrees or not.  What drives the next designer is going to be different and therefore other people’s designs to appeal emotionally to them as much as the originator.  I get it but it’s still fun to watch.  One of the most predictable things on earth.  Just watch a post about layout and logos and read the comments.  You will never find a fellow designer say “Wow, fantastic job”.   Here is today’s list.  I thought I would steal this one but a few people also see its value. 18 years old  17 years old and binational so doing pretty well   The non 4, repeating number has become worth four figures and even mid four figures if its 8.     Over under $585   11 years old and a multi-national as well   There is certainly price range being established here over the last few months on these non vowel, non V LLLL.coms.  Going into the last day they are all in the high $300s and then kind of break from there the last day depending on perceived letter quality.  My favorite on the board because its short and memorable.   Just under $300 at press time  If you thought, “Now THIS is the expensive one on the list”  You are right.  Top price on the board.  For obvious reasons. I’m just not sure what they are yet  I actually thought this may have had a bid or two.  None   Young Free Safe Women   It’s pronounced   Qweeeebeeee.  Actually I have no idea how its pronounced, just making fun of the people that try and tell everyone how to pronounce these things  Just another fine term for your piehole.  From Shallow Hal.  No bidders   Pronounced.   Just kidding.  Decent CVCV   Insert procrastination joke here   Under $100   I’m somewhere in the middle

New GODADDY COUPON CODE: None Work, None. Click the link to See that None of them Work Godaddy Click This For No Savings  Great name and the price reflects it  dot Me is struggling a bit in the aftermarket but not with a fantastic keyword like this   Collectible  You can do a lot in four minutes.  Some times you can do it twice Great looking and these are starting to hit the $800 plus range with no 4s and ending on a 5 or 8′   Another I for international.  500 viewers to the auction but looking for a bid No vowels or V and at $300. $300 is nothing now. Pffffff

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now  1987 domain.  Pretty old   These are the foes of the future.  No bidders. 19 years old  You must be talking about my hair again  Now you’re just rubbing it in  Probably getting all the bids because of the little fishing area off the Shetland islands that share this name   The best name on the board IMO   Great letters for all nations.  An that unites  I get this by texting “How much do you think this is worth?”  to my friends.   Unfortunately all the answers are completely different
