DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Thursday, March 12th, 2015

Mar 12 2015

Escrow.com

Picked up a big boy domain today.  It’s not always I get a name of this quality. A name that will change my financial future and becomes the cornerstone of my portfolio.  And what is this domain?  BigPickle.com OK maybe it’s not the cornerstone of my portfolio and may not exactly change my financial future. But it sure is fun to say.  Here are today’s names

BEOK.com   Bee yok.   17 years old. Whether you can pronounce it or not doesn’t seem to matter to all the bidders

TheFlap.com  A whole blog devoted to Flappy Bird.  16 years old.  Only one bidder

Unopened.com  I like this one a lot.  But I used to love collecting cards and toy and unopened wax packs and toys was all I was looking for.  Obviously there are many more uses  (edit, it ended very early but I really did like it)

PocketAdvertising.com  No bidders.  Perfect name for the mobile ad market.  And yet nobody wants it

CJA.net  LLL.nets used to be in high demand.  Have come down quite a bit but it could be a chance to get in before it becomes hot again

VXVV.com  Add in an X and you save $100K.  $235 opening bid and you probably could take it

KIRV.com   Under $100 at press time

GoingToBed.com  I don’t know if it has much value but I am right now (I write this at night)

91810.com   Will cross $1000 and I’m pretty sure it will be much higher.  But don’t take my word on it. Unless I get it right and then I told you so

TireMonkey.com  1000 free visits each month with the purchase.   Oh yeah, and a free tire rotation each year

ATVers.com  As in ATV enthusiasts. Used to be a developed site…..its old Facebook page has over 1,000 likes.

66177.com  I actually like it much better than the 5N.com above but its going for much less

eypd.com It clearly spells iPod

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

Tuber.com  You guys are thinking YouTube, I’m thinking flower roots

H6Q.com  The average price for these is over $200.  This one is at $5.  Worth somewhere in between those two figures

EAAO.com 11 years old.  At $100

HashOils.com  3 years old and at $1600 but reserve is not met.  Certainly worth more IMO

HeavenlyCheesecake.com   Sounds tasty. Upgrade name for a few sites.

NIXO.com  Has a good bid and the highest bidder gets it

YAO.co  If the Chinese are going to buy a dot co, this is one they would be.  Has a big bid already

A GODADDY COUPON CODE: 99 Cent Tranfer. te99comp

Canoes.net  If you sell canoes you should want this . Even if it is a dot net

Yanes.net   Speaking of .net’s, 4,000+ people in the U.S. have this last names, according to this site. No bidders.

1303.com  Probably will hit $20K

iUSC.com  I am more of an Alabama guy. Although I like the cheerleaders from USC

iOSU.com  I think these were actually registered while thinking of the Universities.

888Domain.com   888.domain was one of the first names taken so I would think this would have even more value.  No bidders

2i.org    We’re about to find out what a CC.org goes for in the auction aftermarket

GetGoodWeed.com  Because nobody wants to get skunk weed

BEOK…should be OK. Isn’t it a good comfort name? EstiBot Value it for $ 42,000 USD. I am a newbie to domain name auction, should I take it seriously?
