DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Tuesday 8/5

Aug 05 2014

Escrow.com

There have been some amazing sales over the last few weeks.  Some have been public and some have been private.  DomainGuardians was pretty excited to talk about their $1 million dollar sale of BTC yet the guy/girl/company that sold it was pretty calm about it.  I know of another guy/girl/company that almost reached that same number as well last week with a sale. And 4.cn has had some sales with quite a few zeros at the end. All the same reaction “It’s been a good week”.  Quite the understatement.  I know I would be jumping up and down, looking to upgrade my old F430 Ferrari to a newer model.  But these guy/girl/company act like they have done it before and will do it again.  And that’s half the reason they got the prices they got.  They know the value of their domain and won’t settle until they get their number. The other difference is they actually had a domain that was worth those prices to someone.  It’s easy to ask a million but it’s a different story that someone will actually pay it. I’m just hoping I do it once.   I’m also hoping neither of their names come public because I’m thinking of claiming the sales were mine 🙂 A man can dream can’t he ?  Here are today’s names

FlirtPad.com  17 years old.  Registered before iPads.  For $12 it may be worth a flier.  NO bidders

Juco.net  Opening bid is $150.  Not too far off value IMO.  Junior College

ConnectDirect.com  Not going to make BTC.com money but old and cheap.  Like my beer

UINU.com Opening bid at $250.  Pretty close to value.  May actually be a bit low

FastLookup.com  One bidder. 12 years old

FixThePlanet.com  We need to.  You can start for $12.  No bidders

YourInspiration.com  Surprised there is only one bidder.  People love to be inspired

2446.com  One four bad, two fours, OK.  Amazing how well these NNNN.coms are doing.

DonateYourWheels.com   The CPC of car to charity is insane.  No bidders

77160.com  Getting lots of action

RockNBody.com  I feel like it should be rockin but I’m still paying attention

Jitsi.com  The company/app of the same name uses the dot org

N6.org CC.org is always a good investment.  At least I think they are

NEW FRIDAY!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day. 33% off new purchases. Great for new gTLDs CJCRMN33

Affiliations.com  Solid social name.  Decent number of bidders

EntryLevelJobs.com  Because everyone needs to start somewhere.  I already said that last time before it went to public auction

ClothesClub.com  I think every girl is born into this club

NDE.co   And a portfolio of 9 other LLL.co   If you think LLL.co are going up in value then you’ll want to check this one out

Patricia.net  Been up for auction before and did well then.  Will do well again IMO

N6.org is for sale. You said CC.org’s is always a good investment. What is the minimum retail price/floor price for CC.org’s regardless of the quality of the letter or number?
