DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, July 1st

Jul 01 2016

Escrow.com

Today’s list is a good example of how the summer goes.   Every auction house is light of names.  I think there is an opportunity to sell some good names because good names really stand out right now. But people don’t sell for a reason and maybe listing now won’t get you the best results.  The data says its true but maybe its only true because nobody lists because they THINK they will not get bids.  I am going to try a few auctions and see how they go.   All I know is there isn’t much quality to choose from with a few exceptions at Godaddy.  I’m sure Josh will dig out thousands of good names in tomorrow’s list.  Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

Lol “thousands” Sounds like a challenge. Seriously though, there are really good ones that stand out and they’re obvious, but like I said on the review there’s a whole group of people looking for decent names that are from a few hundred to a few thousand. We can pick these names up cheap if we find them and sell them all day long. I sold 4 names this week on Godaddy Premium from $188-$388. This is lower than I normally price them, but it’s still a good margin from the $8-$20 i paid. Sure you have to account for domains that you don’t sell, and that’s probably the trickiest part of the dance. You need to have confidence in the names you buy, You have to look at them and say, “That is a business, or I see that as a website, and I know that someone will pay me at least $XXX for it. It doesn’t always work out like that, but I think if you stick to that idea you’ll come out ahead and learn while you do.
