DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday, March 24th

Mar 24 2016

I was going to write a whole post on it so I’ll just put it in this heading.   Sahara Sahid made a mistake.  He won’t admit it.  It doesn’t make Sahar a bad guy, it makes him stubborn. But Frank Schilling and most likely other former guests on his Domaining AMA just don’t want to be part of Adam Dicker.  He says by pulling out they aren’t defending free speech.   I say BS.  The Ku Klux Klan is allowed to have meetings and marches because of freedom of speech but I sure as Hell am not getting on stage with them.  Does that mean I’m not defending free speech?  No that means I won’t share the same stage with people I deem morally wrong.  And those that stand up there and support them are also morally wrong.  Not supporters of free speech.

Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices .

ESAP.com  19 years old.    Great Western acronym.  The kind of letters I want to draw in Scrabble

Mandarin.net   Means “mandarin” in English.  19 years old

NYBB.com    New York Bed and Breakfast

TDFW.com  And yet this one is doing even better

PrayersToGod.com  No bidders at $20.   Religion pays well.  Could make this a pay for pray site.  I won’t judge

CardboardBox.com   Many domain investors I’ve met couldn’t buy and sell their way out of this. 18 years old

WCRM.com  Another great LLLL.com   $2K plus easily IMO

WMIF.com   A step down but not too bad.  14 years old

Forgiving.org  17 years old, PR5, and a hundred or so monthly visits

BBM.net   Best LLL.net I’ve seen in a few weeks

TrainingCard.com   I keep one and I see lots of guys at the gym with them.  Got to have a program to make them gains

FDGD.net  14 year old LLLL.net

On7.com  guess how much you think this one is.  Bet you’re wrong

JuegaMas.com  Means “Play More” in Spanish

SEOGarage.com  “take you site in for an overhaul”  Free slogan.  No bidders at $12

YG.biz   I have always though LL.biz were good investments.  Now they are worth more so I have been right so far

WN.biz  Even better

YBRW.com  Another CHiP.  So many more names of value today compared to the early part of the week

HASK.com   Getting bids because its short and we’re going to pretend like its a real word

886838.com   Very nice 6N.  starts and ends with an 8 and no 4s or zeros in the middle. The best kind

388891.com   Even more 8s in a row

752652.com   Good pattern but not getting any love.  Usually go for $200 plus.  This one is at $35 at press time

SDXI.com, YIKX.com, OHYZ.com  GIJG.com,

445511.com  Even with the 4s the pattern is loved by the Chinese and thus the price

P88W.com   As I’ve always said.  Throw an 88 into any 4 character dot com and its worth three figures

822112.com, 688919.com, 688919.com, 999704.com,  999641.com, 999487.com, 988854.com , 903339.com

Some great 6N.coms today.  I am adding but don’t follow my lead or you will lose all your money and be forced to take a job writing the transcripts from the Domain Sherpa show and have to write out the word fu@K out 17 time

NVVVV.com  You get a lot of Vs for $10

D888D.com  The crazy part of this name is I think I want to buy it.  Damn I like names that look pretty

HHHH.us   First dot US that I’ve ever seen get a bid

UnViewable.com   Would be a fun buildout.  I think Unwatchable is better but that’s not up for auction is it
Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

Moroccan.com  My man Ali has a fantastic name for sale.  And for some crazy reason he doesn’t put a reserve on them.  He knows good names get bids

Aaron did a great job going over some of the names at the Great Sedo Auction.  Some of the best two character, short, and numerics they’ve ever had up for auction.

SmokeWeed.co      A lot of people do.  Under $100 at press time and no reserve

CafeBakery.com  As seen on DomainSherpa.  We all agreed it would be a good name for a shop that is exactly this

iEmployees.com  A HR site in the waiting

2522.info, 2575, 7736, 7767, 2262, 7277, 6227, 3622,and  2511.info   Some of the best NNNN.infos on the board today. Most have bids already

CigarDeals.com   With Cuba opening up I predict cigar smoking will rise with it.  Even as nasty of a habit as it is

YouProfessor.com   Rate your professor site or an education site. Both have good financial potential

BWSA.com   A for association.  High enduser possibilities.

HPHF.com  Same here but since its a CHiP it is worth much more.  Chinese ARE endusers

FluHelp.com  You know what I say about pain and sickness.  Millions daily will pay anything to feel better.  The first place they search is the net

BuyH.com  I don’t know what H is but this is a great name to use to sell it

168101.com  When first is the high bidder you know its worth owning.  At least to first it is

ZebraFurniture.com   I think of New Jersey when I see this. Three bidders like the name

Kite.net  Amazing how low great keyword/brand dot nets go for.  Guarantee taryn is all over this one

BBSM.com Another nice CHiP, WHiP and FLiP.  I made up the FLiP thing

MixStream.com   I feel like I already listen to this on my phone

38351.com  We still doing 5N.coms?  I know we’re still doing 6Ns because I’m still selling them but I don’t really have very many 5Ns.  I’m not rich enough to own many

39988.com  Geez, 38 bidders?  This would have been $10K not too long ago.  I’m going to buy it and pray that first and two two sleep in

TXT.xyz   I think all LLL and NNN dot xyz are great assets

  1. koosah

Pattern LLLL .com are way down. down more than chips on a percentage basis. Put a bunch at no reserve and lost a lot of money 🙁 but its aaaiight

  2. Roger S,

Shane I agree with your comments on Sahar. His free speech angle is misguided. Sadly he has now gone into persecution, blame and victim mode. His whole view on this Dicker thing has shown a real lack of emotional intelligence.

  3. Keith DeBoer

Thanks Shane for continuing to speak in a measured way about the Adam Dicker debacle. I’m all for second or even third chances but we can’t sweep things under the rug and pretend the didn’t happen or don’t matter. Retributions need to be made. Wrongs need to be righted and then Adam can begin to rebuild his reputation in the industry if he so chooses. This AMA interview is the wrong approach at it comes at the wrong time for both Sahid and for Dicker.

  4. DomainTruth

You’re right, this particular incident doesn’t make Sarid a bad guy. But on the whole which includes his extortion scheme mugshots.com, yes, he is a bad guy.

As for freedom of speech. Pulling out is a form of freedom of speech. It’s making a statement without actually making one. Pretty hypocritical to criticize someone in the name of freedom of speech when they are actually exercising theirs. But, hey, what do you expect from a sociopathic, egomaniacal drama queen.

  5. Markus Nystrom

Being “unintelligent” is also manifested in low moral intelligence, i.e. in lowdown and dirty acts. If Sahar is indeed the person who held people’s mugshots for ransom (and his chameleon-like responses on Domaininvesting.com tend to remove doubt in this regard), he deserves quite a bit more than the opprobrium of the domaining community for his overzealous desire to rehabilitate a petty Canadian criminal. If Sahar is the person behind the Mugshots site, I’m sure there are plenty of Americans who would be keen to express their displeasure to him for his repugnant business built on blackmailing people using stolen government information.

  6. Candace cooke

Do you guys think that the DomainingAMA would ever get off the ground? I mean it was ‘postponed’ for no apparent reason (or did I miss the reason? I don’t read Sarid’s fb posts)

Here’s the better question – At this point, does anyone really care if he lauches the AMA or not?
