DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Tuesday, May 3rd

May 03 2016

I learn from my peers every day.  I learn from everyone I come in contact with.  There are a million ways to make money in this industry but the more ways I learn the better chance I have of making some.  One thing I’ve learned from Drew Rosener is if you want a name don’t worry about who owns it.  No matter how big the company that owns it, find the right person and make an offer.  You never know, you may be able to buy the name.  And you may be able to get it at a good price.  There is only one way to find out and that’s to do the work and find out.  Just because a multimillion dollar company owns it doesn’t mean its in the vault.  Maybe they’re not using it anymore.  Maybe they are happy to add some funds to the company picnic fund.  In short, don’t put restrictions on names you can buy until you find out they are truly not for sale.  Here are today’s names.    Click to see current prices

NorthAmericanAir.com  17 years old.   4K backlinks.    Closed down in 2014

OxyLite.com   Sounds like a drug that costs too much

NewPorn.com   I think we’re all getting tired of the same old stuff.  I mean I’ve HEARD that people are getting tired of the same old stuff.  No bidders

ProString.com  The kind of name I pick up for $20 and sell for a grand all the time. By all the time I mean once or four times a year.   No bidders

ClearMax.com   The kind of names that sells for 5 figures to a company or sits in your portfolio for 5 years

WeatherSeek.com  No bidders at $12.  As good of a name as WeatherUnderground

QuickNewsletter.com    No bidders.   I know its something I try and get out but I just use Aweber

Mining.cc   Bitcoin mining?   No bidders

Tweeto.com  I figured this one would get some bids.  I honestly thought it would hit $1K but not even close.  Although I guess we have the rest of the day to go

BracketDraft.com   Fantasy sports gambling skill picking

RideLeaf.com   I figured I would get this for $10.   Doesn’t mean anything but memorable and well memorable.  Has a bidder and now I imagine it will have more

BusinessCompass.com “Let us guide your way to business success”

XFHB.com    These CHiPs have settled at $1300 floor.    X is the placeholder here which adds a little value

WXGR.com   Another X name here.  And getting a good price as well

CharmedToDeath.com    Everyone wants those 195,000 backlinks

163335.com  Lots of 3s for the money

YAUS.com, ANKX.com, NFVB.com  , IXPM.com      A few LLLL.com that are at value prices today

HHBD.com   Met reserve.   Great letters from start to finish

TennisInstructors.com   15 years old.   No reserve.   Waiting for a buildout.  Either for actual instructors or a sex partner.  In the 70s everyone slept with their tennis instructor

XXVL.com    These are the stats from the seller Last 10 and half months (April 2015- February 2016)
198,646 vistors and 7,543 Clicks

WAUC.com  Great acronym.   The C alone and the lack of not often used letters makes it valuable IMO

158815.clom    Palindrome.   Chinese love balance and this one has perfect balance

WhiskyFan.com   No bidders.   If you watched DomainSherpa this week you will know that Drew told us that Countries that have an E in their name spell whiskey with an E.  Those that don’t, don’t.  Not 100% correct but correct enough to be useful.   Whisky drinkers don’t care how its spelled

CardiganSweaters.com   $19K Estibot.  The singular is built out. People still wear cardigans  But nobody seems to care

858088.com   Four out of six numbers are 8.   But still not at three figures

661218.com    Found their floor at $100.  Will they move up from here?

AmishMarket.com   Probably not going to meet reserve but worth every cent to someone that runs one

CRCR.com   Last call for this great pattern

GreenFarm.com  Because FungusFarm just doesn’t have the same ring to it

XPXP.com  Another one here.  YTYT.com sold for $8K

FXOO.com   This one is doing better than I expected but the double oh or FX might be driving it

PUG.com   Obvious value.  Pretty sure not going to be used for a dog related site

75387.com   Nice 5N.com    $1700 at press time

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
