Friday’s Daily Dropping Domains and a Joke

Jul 30 2010

One of the best things about writing this blog are all the great emails I get (and a few spam emails).  Yesterday I got to meet a couple of great guys that reached out and let me know they enjoyed the blog.  It’s a nice feeling to see that others get my sense of humor and outlook on life.  Life is made to be lived.  We make money so we can enjoy it.  I just need to make more because I want to enjoy it more.  Now onto the names.

USDF.com I usually don’t like 4 letter acronyms but with this one starting off with US I think this one has great value.

JackRabbit.net 33,000 searches and a surprising $1.76 CPC, 1997 domain

PreventPregnancy.org When you throw an org at the end of this it actually makes the name stronger. Makes it seem like you might actually know how to prevent pregnancy.

RagingStorm.com I know….it’s a brandable but it does have some age…1997 AND there’s just not a lot on the board today

A guy walks into a bar and sees a tiny man, about a foot tall, playing a tiny piano on the end of the bar. Astonished, the guy says, “Wow, where did you get this little piano player from?”

The bartender shrugs and puts an old, dusty bottle onto the bar. “Genie in the bottle. Rub the bottle three times, he’ll come out, and you can make a wish.”

The guy rubs the bottle, out comes the genie, and asks him what his wish is. The guy already knows his wish: “I want the sexiest girl ever to appear right here, right now, and take me into the back room and make sweet love to me for the rest of the night.”

The genie snaps his fingers, and poof! out of thin air appears a gorilla, who wastes no time in grabbing the guy and dragging him into the back.

“Wait!” shouts the guy. “I said girl, not gorilla!”

“Yep,” said the bartender. “And if you think I asked for a twelve-inch pianist, you’re crazy.”
