Had a record breaking week at the nursery. Not sure if we’re doing something special or the economy is coming back. Either way I’ll take it and I hope it continues. Now on to today’s name. “Not many men have both good fortune and good sense” Marilyn French XXXAuditons.com No bidders. I’ve heard these casting couch audition things are quite popular. All I’ve Ever Wanted Was an Honest Week’s Pay for an Honest Day’s Work
I make money because it’s how I keep score. Like most kids that grew up with Atari and Nintendo, I used to love to play video games. Now I still play games but the score is kept in US dollars. If I win I make lots of money. If I lose I lose my time. But my time is valuable, very valuable, so if I’m going to play this domaining game then I want to make weekly money putting in daily time. Here’s how I’ve been doing it. I find something I can make money in and I attack it. There … FULL ARTICLE »

It was nice to see that Rick and Richard talked and worked out the Water School party yesterday. I said that the only thing that seemed to be lacking was communication and evidently that was solved. Good job to both of them. I’m off to work early today because it’s Mother’s Day weekend and in my industry it’s our Christmas. SHANE’S BIG LIST: Friday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on the 10th
If you have a decent portfolio then most likely you’ve had a broker contact you to see if you have a domain of a certain type for one of their clients. If so then they’ve probably asked to see what you’re looking for and your budget as well. At first I always felt that I would pay too much if I used a broker to buy a name. Now I realize that they can also find you a good deal. There are some people that don’t mind liquidating and if the stars align you may be able to find a … FULL ARTICLE »
SHANE’S BIG LIST: Thursday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on the 9th
I was looking through DnJournal’s weekly domain sales list and have to admit that I think I have domains that are as easily as good as many in the list over $10,000. I’m sure many people do because many of those domains are merely domains that were highly wanted. Wanted enough that the buyers were willing to pay the high price. Even more important though is the fact that the sellers asked for so much. Most of us never would have even started the number so high. Here are today’s names and the daily quote. “Life is no brief candle to … FULL ARTICLE »
