Changing Meta Tags Really Does Work
I really am no SEO expert but I try. I am not trying to get my mini sites or “fun” sites to the first page of Google, but my real business. My family’s nursery realized a while ago that yellow book was fading and that thousands per month could be saved if we concentrated on newsletters and working on getting to the first page for local keywords. My father had always been in charge of the website. He’s done it since 1995 and I ‘m pretty sure we hadn’t updated it since then. The website was my Dad’s thing and … FULL ARTICLE »
Of the Names Dropping Today, These Are a Few I Think Offer Good Value
A lot of good dot nets dropping but I’m trying to concentrate more on dot coms. They are certainly “good values” in the dot nets but the selling is the hard part. More reward for the money but certainly more effort. Now onto the names BuyMyTicket.com Easy to remember and the name says exactly what you are trying to do with the website. AffiliateJuice.com I thought affiliate people would like this one. CannedFruit.com Not sure if you are really going to sell canned fruit but nice generic and easy to remember LexaproGeneric.com $8100 valuation and you can make an affiliate … FULL ARTICLE »
A Fun Way To Find Domain Names
After about 345 articles regarding it, you’ve realized I love strong 5L domain names. I picked up weeba.com the other day and am always looking for 5 letter words with no meaning that are easy to spell, pass the radio test, and tend to buy names that end in “o” or “a”. Finding 5Ls isn’t difficult but finding strong names under $100 is. One place I enjoy looking through names is Wordoid.com. It’s a name generator and is great from coming up with meaningless random words based on how many characters you want it to use. It’s a simple site … FULL ARTICLE »
Get Em To Stay: Groupon Uses Comedy To Keep Subscribers Around
Ask any website owner and they’ll tell you the most valuable part of the site are the email subscribers. Its saves you thousands (sometimes millions) of dollars in advertising because you have a direct channel to you audience without having to pay some form of media to reach them. Unfortunately you will occasionally lose someone and by law you have to let them unsubscribe……..but you don’t have to let them go easily. Groupon is simple site that lets users buy deals from local companies. It could be a $10 backpack from Lands End or an $8 pedicure. Groupon matches loss … FULL ARTICLE »
Names are Dropping Today and These are the Ones I Think Offer Value
Gotta love the $151K camroulette hit yesterday. We all hope that our next pickup will be the next camroulette. I’m a bit more realistic but a man can dream can’t he? Now here are some names that you may be able to make at least a portion of that Comfrey.com Comfrey is an herb that has always been popular with organic medicine. 5500 searches and $9000 valuation. I’m in to a $1000 but herbs aren’t my thing QuickConverter.com I like the name but nobody else does. Certainly worth $20 and can be used for a ton of different uses DogCombs.com … FULL ARTICLE »
