SHANE’S BIG LIST: Friday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on March 28th, 2014

Mar 28 2014

When I’m not doing my twice a year stand in on DomainSherpa I work on a TV show called Mid American Gardener on Thursdays.  It used to be a little local show but has grown in popularity over the years.  Now it’s shown all over the Midwest and has quite a following.  The problem is it’s still shot live locally and then rebroadcast to other cities. And live can be a challenge as proven by Chris at Oversee who so nicely called in and asked the question “What do I do when an endangered animal is eating an endangered plant?”  He single handily created a new position of call screener.  Here are today’s names  Dogs and cats or people that dress up in animal costumes and hump each other.  Or is that plushie? I forget 19 years old  NO bidders.  Gotta admit it memorable   14 years old. Popular term.  Makes me think of Chiggers  Great marketing name.  I see ads on billboard and trucks looking for employees. This would be the perfect domain to use   Metric names are cool  No bidders. Not even a real word but used all the time in place of surcharge.  Which make it cool.  10 years old.  Nice letters   8 years old  10 years old.  People that lay down tile are called tilers but also a last name.  Makes a great brand on it’s own.  No bidders. $1 opening bid  Might be the most valuable of them all if a business is built on it

Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. $.99 Dot Com Registration or Transfer (plus ICANN fees) gofd2002ab  So many uses of this domain.  Animals and so many other things are disappearing from the world every day.  Somebody with a cause is going to buck up for this domain some day  A highly used word but could also mean “done”.  Again a ton of uses  19 years old.  And everyone loves quick. 17 years old.  Pretty much what everyone who shops is looking for  The exact opposite of the Internet yet ironically they will be served by the Internet  Even the LLL.coms with Zs are worth a bunch  One of the finer NNNN.coms this year IMO  My favorite domain in a while as well.  Bedding domains have traditionally done well  Fashion name or the first goal after you get up  The are so much more pleasant if they’re happy

Have a name at auction and need more exposure. Send me an email. I may be able to help.

*All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission (click through and purchase a name you like) or paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.

I’m brainstorming a new show called “Domain Pruning with Shane” where you just ridicule domain name registrations until a caller deletes them from their portfolio: Maybe even cross promote it through your other show? 🙂
