SHANE’S BIG LIST: Monday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on February 10th, 2014

Feb 10 2014

Escrow.com

You may have heard the biggest tech news of the past month, Flappy Bird was removed from the Android and iOS app centers by the creator.  According to interviews he was making $50K A DAY from the app but he said the pressure was just too much so he was going to remove it.  Everyone thought he was merely saying it to promote more downloads and yet he actually took it down.  Evidently money isn’t everything, but at $50K a day it trumps most of my wants and needs. Here are today’s names.

Freska.com  Gonna have a little problem with the softdrink spelling but still a nice name. 17 years old

GreatProperties.com  Because HorribleProperties.com has not been bringing in visitors. 17 years old

InfoHaus.com  Even English speakers know haus is house in German

AsianAss.com  I mean this in the kindest way but Asian women do have nice asses.  Sometimes they’re a little too small but I tend to lean towards that vs Kim Kardashian.

GameDogs.com  My favorite food in the world. Something about hot dogs at the stadium. They taste different than what you get anywhere else.  Pretty sure it’s taken on the flavor of the floor they’ve fallen on

PTNL.com  L for league.  15 years old

TheDishes.com  I’d buy the name but I have this thing about cleaning them

Worthless Random Fact: Susan Lucci is the daughter of Phyllis Diller

TheDogPound.com   Not just the guys that hang out with Snoop Dogg.  A great brand.  17 years old

Aakarshan.com  Indian name and name of several different places

Yonda.com  I was looking at it because I knew a girl in school named Yonda but evidently there are a lot of people with this last name. 152 bidders

Turro.com  Another last name

LatestTechnologyNews.com    Pretty much describes what the site would be offering.  Good Google keywords

TheSadness.com  Some recent “the” names that have sold over $2,000 are TheGritty.com, TheAggregate.com, TheAnnexe.com,TheAston.com, TheIntell.com, TheExchange.com, TheSignature.com, ThePremise.com, TheObjective.com, ThePanoramic.com, and plenty more.

SLDS.com 15 years old LLLL.com

SmartOrganic.com  Because everyone wants you to think that getting everything organic is smart

HikingSandals.com  I wear these to work every day in Summer.  Also known as broken toe sandals at the nursery.  But they are very comfortable

PirateCoin.com  I’m starting to lose interest in all these coins.  Then again I hope Bitcoin crashes to 100 to make me feel better that I didn’t get in early.  So maybe I’m just jealous

HostingToday.com  Ahhh my favorite blog about hosting.  Soooo funny

StickFigure.com  The only drawings I can do with the talents I have

CameraDeals.com   Funny thing is while cameras have gotten very cheap, nice cameras always seem to be expensive.  Time merely changes what we think is “nice”

MarijuanaButter.com  I admit I had never heard of it but sounds like it would be good on toast.  Of course I’d go to work high but I do work in the green industry.  In all seriousness, it’s what they use in quite a bit of recipes for pot food

80-80.com  This one has me curious. I normally don’t like hyphens but it looks like a name the Chinese would like

Arborist.info   A tree doctor and I know as well as any they are in high demand if you have older trees in your yard.  Selling because I have 350 other domains ahead of it on the buildout list

It takes a couple of steps to install on Android still. I installed it today just to see what the hype is all about. Simple but very difficult game to play well.
