SHANE’S BIG LIST: Saturday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on February 22nd, 2014

Feb 22 2014

Escrow.com

There is a Macklemore song that says you have to put in 10,000 hours to be good at something.  If you work 40 hours a week for a year that’s 2080 hours.  So it will take you 5 years at a full time job to become good.  I’m not there in domains yet but I get closer every day.  I feel the big gains coming but in the meantime I’ll keep watching and picking away. Here are today’s names.

ComputerU.com   Great computer school name. 17 years old

ChildSearch.com   Plenty of uses,  from adoption or a find my child app in case you let them out the back door to use the bathroom and they run away during the fireworks.  Actually come to think of it, that may have happened to my cat not my daughter

GetTheShot.com  14 years old.  Nice marketing name for a camera related product. One bidder

TwistedFerret.com  You know I love crazy brands.  Good one for $12.  14 years old

TimeShareAuctions.com   No reason there shouldn’t be a place to auction your timeshare.   Disney for a $1

AmazingWomen.com   Aren’t they all amazing?  OK she’s gone.  MOST are amazing

RaceHouse.com  For $12 not too shabby

p6.org  Wouldn’t be surprised to see this cross $2K

WestCoastCannabis.com   There is a lot of west coast cannibis.  Can get this cheaper than a 1/4 ounce

Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. 30% OFF New GTLDS.  bigwin30

Noreaster.com   I ran a Boston Marathon in one of these.  I thought midwest wind was bad.  Damn noreaster is worse

Pigs.net  Not sure who the end user is here but it’s going to have to do with pork

Younger.net   If you want the dot com it’s for sale at NetCompanies

MoldSpecialist.com  Pending Delete.   If you ever want to get something covered by insurance tell them you saw mold

INSS.com  Solid letters and the price reflects it

And in case you missed Yesterday’s Book of 10

eMOOC.com (Make Offer) Massively Open Online Course.  Look it up.  Hugely popular and the future of the web.

Nigel.TV  $500  One of the most popular names in England.  18,500 searches per month. Email for Contact info

Any3DPrinting.com  $11,000  The hottest keywords in the industry right now.  I’d give you the comps but pretty sure everyone’s followed the sales prices

TopLoadWasher.com  $100   You have two choices.  Top Load, Front Load.  Top loads clean better IMO and a heck of a lot cheaper.  But front loads are cooler and generally use less water so people assume they are better

Vato.com   $15K   Means dude or “cool dude” in Spanish slang.  If you live in California or Texas you’ve certainly heard it.  A cool CVCV as well.  Incredible Hispanic brand.  Contact MediaOptions

EnergyPill.com  $8K  Some pharma company is going to want to buy this.  That or a informercial company Contact MediaOptions

EOE.org  EOE is at the end of every job ad you see.  Means Equal Opportunity Employer

TheRetriever.com  $750  From dogs to an application that does a task this one has a lot of uses

DrinkOfWater.com $800  Something that we take for granted but something that many people base their life around getting.  $250 of sale will go to The Water School

H15.com  $3000  Gets approx. 20 visits per day and $1 a day in parking.  But the parking money is a bonus
