SHANE’S BIG LIST: Thursday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on March 6th, 2014

Mar 06 2014

Escrow.com

Yesterday was a banner day.  I preregistered my first new gTLDs.  I won’t say what they are until I see if I get them but they are something that I would actually use and there is no way I could have afforded the dot com.  That’s where I and other people disagree. Why in the world would you buy the New G when the corresponding dot com is affordable?  You don’t have to educate your customers with the dot com.  I am only registering the new G because the name I registered would cost 10K and the names I want to buy would have some resale value in my opinion.  We’ll find out soon.  If the speed in which the registrar took my money out of my account is any indication,  I will get it.  Here are today’s names.

NWMI.com  18 years old.  Great letters.  Was under $100 while I was writing this and worth at least 4 times that IMO

AreYouKidding.com   15 years old.   Popular saying but guessing build out won’t be comedy

ICanHelpYou.com  15 years old also.  Nice to know that someone is willing to help.  Most people just pretend like they don’t see me

SurfBase.com   No bidders.  15 years old.  I like the look and sound of it. Short surf related domains always have value in California

GetAHomeFast.com 14 years old.  Great marketing name for a real estate or home loan company

TheInternetGuy.com   There can only be one and that’s the guy that owns this domains

TalkU.com 10 years old.  I figured for $20 you probably will be OK on this one

AFF.org  A good name on it’s own but also a PR6 with 400 or so back links

VCHO.com  V at the front is as good as any other letter and any vowel at the end is good

Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. Big Savings on a New gTLD domain, varies by tld cjc35newc

DiSalvo.com   Popular Italian last name.  Dated a cute girl with that name.  Now she has a different name and is not cute

CheddarHead.com   You’ve seen them at the Green Packers game. 17 years old

CoffeeEtc.com  I like the name because there are no bidders. And I really don’t drink coffee. 17 years old

MicroTubing.com   I buy a ton of this.  May buy the name as well

BedroomDesign.com  My wife changes ours every 3 day.  Or at least it seems like it

BetOnGames.com  HUGE name in my opinion.  One of the better gambling name in a while

WebMerchantServices.com  Credit card services and especially online are huge money.  $27 CPC.  No bidders

StarFinder.com   aka youtube

ElitePoker.com   I’m sure the poker name people will like this one.  I’m more a sports gambling kind of guy

Footpads.com  I wear insoles.  That and footpads are part of the billion dollar footcare industry

ProfessionalWriting.com  You won’t find much of that around here.

SharpeningStone.com  I hide my wetstone from the employees because it’s one of my most valuable tools.  I like to keep my knife sharp. Keep that in mind if we meet at a Domain Conference.

HAVE A NAME AT AUCTION OR FOR SALE? Already taking names for Friday’s Book of 10. Let me help you get more bidders and more views to your domain. *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission (click through and purchase a name you like) or paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.

Do not hold your breath, I had two domains in new gTLDs registered and over $3000.00 removed from my account.

Only to find out 24 Hours later the registry decided to hold them back as premium and not registrable.

To make matters worse I did not get the money back for another 24 hours so my money was tied up and i missed another domain that I also wanted.
