THE BIG AFTERMARKET LIST: Wednesday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on April 30th, 2014

Apr 30 2014

I may be the only person in the domain industry who’s parking income keeps going up.  But it’s not because I am getting better returns. It’s that I keep adding more domains.  I’m sure Berkens makes more from one name in one day than I do all month but money is money.  I’ll be moving some of my names over to Rook soon and trying out the new Domain Agents platform.  Why you ask?  Because you should.  You should always diversify.  I have always liked the guys at Rook and figured it’s time I move some names over.  But Frank will get his money as I have a much better plan of attack to work his affiliate program.  From what I read, not many people are having any success.  Here are today’s names. Book of 10 is now taking names.  $25 a name.  Between the post and their newsletter (and our little site) 18,000 domain investors will be reached.  3 spots left 14 years old.  Approaching the $500 mark  This is worth $750 or more IMO.  Of course I may get to put my money where my mouth is on the last few CCC that I said where worth a certain amount.  No bidders.   I know there are plenty of porn names out there but I like this one.  The name, not porn   No bidders, if I’m going to buy a dot biz I want it cheap like this and a name that represents what kind of business I’m in  I guess this one should be mine   F for First   Not sure it has much value but it’s fun to say

NEW!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. $.99 cent new registration Dot Com GOFD4004HE  It’s all that matters.  No bidders  Most likely the winning tech won’t have this generic of a name but this is essentially what it will be  I wouldn’t exactly call being vegan a life but to each his/her own  Ahh the ever desired market group of people with a new degree and no money  A lot of 9s.  Will hit $1000  That pretty much covers everywhere   Great marketing name for someone that makes their own product

Have a name at auction and need more exposure. Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.   *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.

site is looking good, and the logo looks slick and professional. Anyways, I have a few questions. So I read somewhere that you like collecting 5 character brandables. If that’s right, than these questions may make sense. What’s your opinion on domains (5 letter) that contain:

    “X” and “Z” and “V”
    “k” vs. “q”
that end in “i” vs “y”
domains that sound like dictionary words

Obviously, it depends on a specific domain in question and how it “sounds”, but generally speaking, you prefer some over the other?

I stay away from X. I only buy Vs when the are the first or 4th letter. I don’t buy Q. And I never buy names that end in I. How’s that for exact answer 🙂

I guess that’s why most of the ones above show up as deleted domains lol. I have a thing for domains that contain “X” for some reason, I guess I just think it’s a cool letter hahah. Thanks for the answer. Nice posts by the way, read through all those → . It’s funny, because I am relatively new, but a lot of the points you make are ones I have already thought about. Just some encouragement that I may be on the right track. Good choice w/ the pravada theme (?), incredibly responsive.
