THE BIG AFTERMARKET LIST: Wednesday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on May 21st, 2014

May 21 2014

I made the mistake of saying that I would review a few people’s portfolios over the last few weeks.  But I haven’t been able to make the time to really look them over.  I glanced but never responded.  Each time needing a little more time to really respond and provide any kind of real opinion.  Both people emailed me several times asking when I was going to take a look.  I responded, “sorry I just haven’t had time, too busy at the nursery”  They saw me post each day and wondered why I had time to post but not take a look.  I’m sure I was a bit snippy in my response but it was something to the effect of I’m doing you a favor please don’t get on me about being slow in that favor.   In different ways they both responded that I was being rude in my lack of effort.  I feel bad because I really haven’t had time.  I know the difference between having time and making time and every time I tried, I’d get pulled away or have to go to sleep. I put it on my “would like to do” list but felt the “need to do” list needed to be worked on first.  Either way I feel bad because I don’t want people to think I’m a dick  (or more than already do) simply because I didn’t fulfill a favor.  Makes you not want to agree to anything to avoid not fulfilling that favor.  Then again I probably could have reviewed that portfolio in the time it took me to write this.  Maybe I’m just a dick.    Here are today’s names.  Now taking listings for the BOOK of 10.  ONLY 4 SPOTS LEFT.  Get your auctions or names for sale SEEN.   $25 a name, discounts for multiple names.  Names will reach over 18,000 domain investors.  I didn’t realize there were other ways of playing. Good marketing name.  15 years old.  One bidder  Clear Wireless owns but a lot of people type this. (over 900 a month according to GD) Buying this makes you a cybersquatter but some of the biggest and “best” in our industry make a living with typos.  A lot of “movements” use this slogan.  12 years old  VP is easy to remember so it should do well.  Under $400 is a good buy IMO  It’s short but the DUI is the driver of value.  A little more limiting than a normal  Already sounds like a brand.  I like CCC that start with V.  But that’s just me

NEW!!!! Working Godaddy Domain Code of the day.. 99 cent Transfer or New Registration GOFD722A   People generally hate painting.  This one sounds like it would make it easier.  No bids.  15 years old  I know that hemp is more than pot and is used for a million other uses but I like to ride the Colorado Pot bandwagon  Per usual, has the most bids of all the domains today  I doubt you’re going to sell those forearm shield things.  Will probably just be used as a brand  They make enough money per hour now to have an organizations. Can hardly afford to go to the movies AND pay the babysitter anymore  I know I was trying to unscramble back in the 80s on Cinemax about 11 pm.  Damn squiggly lines

Have a name at auction and need more exposure?  Send me an email. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.   *All names chosen by me, Shane, and the goal of this list is to have all links be paid through commission . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct.

Shane, were you trying to unscramble those Emmanuelle movies? And here I was thinking I was the only one…

Not to be a dick lol, but domaining may not be for you if you need to have others look at your portfolio. It’s understandable to ask about a few, but not them all. I’ve even done it in the past, and it’s either really time intensive w/ the back and forth, or just a cut/dry answer… they all suck… and if you need someone to review your portfolio, there’s a relatively good chance most of the domains blow anyways. Dancing around not only people’s monetary investments, but their emotional as well. Reviewing another’s portfolio should NOT be a free service.
