Thursday’s Big List of Domains At Auction, Dropping, or For Sale Around the Net 3-8-12

Mar 08 2012

Another so so day of names but getting a little better.  Namejet is holding the list back with its weaker than normal choices.  They traditionally have the strongest group but like everything good, has to take a breather every once in a while.  In the “obvious” category, yesterday Apple brought out yet another amazing piece of electronics with the iPad4G.  It’s just enough to make you want it.  They even moved the high end price to $899 and people don’t care.  Printing money.  Now on to today’s names.

Kelly.tv  NameJet has a lot of name.tvs at auction today.  Even old Jamie has a TV with his name on it.

MWFA.com  Great letters and the old “A” ending that I love

Calculation.org   Mortgage and loan calculators are big origination sources. Could do the same with this.

Rhineland.com 3500 searches and comes up at $6K over at Valuate. The area around the Rhine river and often typo’ed as Ryneland to signify the stadium of former Cubs second baseman Ryne Sandberg

RakeItIn.com  A term for bringing in the cash.  The kind of name that sells for a lot of money and you don’t know why but then you look and Paramount has some new movie coming out and they wanted the name.  Then again, maybe I daydream too much

LaFin.com I think it means “Fighting Chicken” in French. The End. 12 years old

SpringBreakPackages.com Great travel name. The problem with Spring Break for me was when I was in college I didn’t have the money and now that I have the money I look like a creepo on Spring Break. Last year was VERY awkward. Valuate.com has this at $3600

ProBackup.com Backup in this case stands for the backing up the Brinks truck to pay for this domain.

Appartment.net I don’t normally do typos but this word seems to get more than most.

ZenBox.com For a mere $1300 this box is all yours.

Themeswarehouse.com Decent name for a wordpress theme sales site.

Regularity.com  Valuated at $11K, the $1000 starting bid seems pretty good to me.  And we all know the importance of regularity.  So do few big pharm companies.

Special thanks to DropDay and Escrow.com for making this list possible. Don’t get lost in the crowd. If you have a name up for auction and would like to feature it here on the list.  Drop me a line.
